Since I wrote Planets and Planet-Centered Astrology, based largely on direct transmission and then researched in the crucible of my therapeutic practice, I have come to realize that I hardly knew anything about planet-centered perspectives in the 1980's. Yet at that time I felt impelled to write about subject.
Now we have the refined capabilities of the Intrepid astrology program to provide extremely accurate planet-centered charts, and we have tremendous bodies of information about the solar system and beyond that were not in place when my book was published in 1992.
Jeffrey Sayer Close has been developing his SELF-EVIDENT ASTROLOGY™ over many years, independent of my astrological work. His research concludes that astrology truly is self-evident if we examine the facts of astronomy. My studies focused on transpersonal factors in people's lives. In our separate studies, Jeffrey and I took different paths, yet arrived at nearly identical conclusions.
I would be remiss if I did not also give due credit to Mark Lipson, who created the Capella program that gave me my first glimpse of planet-centered perspectives.
